UNDERSTAND THE RESULT

What the plate path shows and where its limits are

The line drawn over your video shows the tracked movement of the plate in the image. It is a visual reference for reviewing a lift and discussing it with your coach.

Read the line alongside the video and its context, never as an automatic technique score.

A reference within your video

The trace follows movement visible in the recording. Its shape depends on the lift as well as the camera angle and any camera movement. Recordings from different positions do not provide exactly the same reference.

What you can observe

You can replay where the plate travels and relate the path to moments in the lift. Watching the video with the trace provides more context than looking only at the completed line. Download the result to review it or share it.

What the line alone cannot tell you

The path on its own cannot determine whether a lift is correct, safe or suitable for you. It does not replace a coach's assessment. Interpretation requires the whole movement, the goal of the session and the athlete's context.

Signs of unreliable tracking

Check whether the line leaves the plate, jumps position or follows another object. Occlusion, blur and poor lighting can make tracking difficult. If the trace does not represent the movement well, try a clearer recording.

Use the result for a specific conversation

Send the complete video and explain which attempt it was and what you want to review. SightPRESS is in beta: if analysis fails or detects insufficient tracking, the reserved use is released. Completed analysis consumes its use even if you later find the trace unhelpful.
