1. Controller and contact
The controller of personal data processed by SightPRESS is Santiago Fernández Valverde, an individual. For privacy enquiries or to exercise your rights, email santi@sightpress.io.
Country of establishment and address: to be confirmed.
2. Data, purposes and legal bases
Account and sign-in. We use your username, email, protected password, language and account and usage details to provide access, verify email and recover your account. If you choose Google, we link your Google identity and email; we do not receive your Google password. The basis is providing the service you request.
Videos and profile. We process videos, optional weight and details you provide to generate the result. Some features accept optional body measurements, which are not needed to trace the path. The basis for processing your data is providing the service; a valid basis is also needed for processing the data of anyone else who appears.
Payments. We keep purchase references, status and dates, access granted and adjustments to manage payment and handle issues. Stripe receives card details; SightPRESS does not store the full number or security code. The bases are fulfilling the purchase and meeting applicable legal obligations.
Contact. We use your name, email and message to respond to you. Enquiries and replies are handled by email. The basis is responding to your request before a purchase or providing service support; the basis for other enquiries must be determined according to their content.
Security. We use technical connection data, identifiers and error records to prevent abuse and resolve failures. The proposed basis is a legitimate interest in protecting the service, with its assessment still to be completed.
3. Video processing
Originals and results are stored, and temporary copies are created for processing. Files may contain images, voices and other details of the people recorded. Movement data and processing status information are also generated.
The application checks that videos belong to your account before displaying or downloading them. Anyone with a temporary file link can access the file while the link remains valid; only share it with the intended recipients.
Permission to process videos is limited to providing the service and does not authorise advertising or model training. If you act for a club or other people, you must inform them and have the necessary legal basis and permissions. Accepting these terms does not replace recorded people’s consent where it is required.
4. Providers and transfers
Stripe is involved in payments. Google is involved if you choose its sign-in option, when website fonts load and in the configured email service. These features may share account, payment or connection data with them, depending on the service used.
Hosting, storage and email services require technical providers. Authorised personnel and those providers may access data to operate the service. Data may also be disclosed where required by law.
The identities of contracted providers, the countries where they process data and the safeguards for any international transfers remain to be completed.
5. Retention and deletion
Originals and results are not automatically deleted when each video finishes. Processing attempts to remove its temporary copies when it ends. Deleting a file does not itself delete account, usage or payment records.
Retention periods for videos, accounts, payments, messages, technical logs and backups have yet to be defined. You can request erasure by email; legal obligations or claims may require some data to be retained.
The mobile app may keep temporary copies for playback or sharing. Deleting a server file does not remove copies you have exported to your gallery or other apps.
6. Your rights and how to exercise them
Where the GDPR applies, you can request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection and portability in the circumstances it provides. If processing relies on consent, you can withdraw it without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Email santi@sightpress.io with your request and your account email. Do not attach passwords or identity documents to the first message. If identity verification is needed, only information proportionate to that purpose should be requested.
You can complain to the competent data protection authority. In Spain, you can contact the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD), without limiting any options available under applicable law.
7. Cookies and policy changes
The website uses cookies to keep you signed in, protect forms, remember your language and show temporary messages. You can manage them in your browser; blocking them may prevent sign-in or form submission.
Google or Stripe may also use their own technologies when you use their services. The mobile app stores credentials securely and keeps local data to recover pending purchases or jobs.
This policy may be revised when data processing changes. The date shows its latest revision; an update does not replace consent where consent is required.
